Privacy & Terms
PLAIN ENGLISH · LAST UPDATED 29 JULY 2026Short version: an account needs your email and a password. The trading terminal is a simulator playing with fake money. Nothing here is sold, shared, or advertised against, and you can have all of it deleted by asking.
WHO RUNS THIS
izzyawake.dev is run by Eleazar Perez (izzy), an independent operator. Questions, deletion requests, and anything else: eleazarcheckings@gmail.com.
WHAT IS COLLECTED
Only if you create an AWAKE account:
- Your email address — it identifies the account and is the only way to reach you.
- A name, if you choose to give one. It is optional and used only to greet you.
- Your password, stored as a cryptographic hash. The plain password is never stored and cannot be read back.
- A session cookie so you stay signed in. It is
HttpOnly,Secure, andSameSite=Lax. - Your simulated trading account — paper balance, simulated positions and history, notes you write, price alerts, and interface preferences. This is saved so it follows you between devices.
If you never create an account, none of the above is collected. Browsing the site anonymously stores nothing that identifies you — only the anonymous page counter described next, and the ordinary server request logs described further below.
THE PAGE COUNTER
This site counts page views itself rather than handing that job to an analytics company.
When a page loads, your browser sends one short message whose entire contents are the name of
the page — for example {"p":"awake"}. The request is deliberately made
without your cookies, so even when you are signed in it carries nothing that says who you
are. Like every request any browser makes, it still arrives with the ordinary headers the web
runs on, such as which page it came from and roughly what browser you use; the counter neither
reads nor keeps any of them.
What the database stores is one row per page per day:
2026-07-29 · page · awake · 41
That is the entire record — a date, whether the key is a page or a named event, the key itself, and a number. No IP address, no browser or device details, no referrer, no cookie, no session, no account id, and no time more precise than the calendar date. Because nothing in it identifies anybody, there is nothing that could later be linked back to you, by us or by anyone who ever got hold of the database. It exists so the site's owner can tell whether anyone is reading — not who.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no message is sent at all. There is no tracking here to opt out of, but the signal is respected anyway.
WHAT IS NOT COLLECTED
- No real financial data, wallets, bank details, or card numbers. The terminal is a simulator and never touches real money or real orders.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics, pixels, or fingerprinting — the page counter above is first-party, anonymous, and never leaves this site.
- No profiles, no cross-site tracking, no attempt to recognise you between visits or between devices unless you sign in.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with anyone. There is no marketing list.
WHERE IT LIVES
The site runs on Vercel (hosting) and stores accounts and simulator state in a Neon PostgreSQL database. Resend sends account emails such as sign-in links and password resets. Each of these providers processes data on the site's behalf and keeps their own operational logs. Vercel keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for a limited period.
The terminal streams live market prices directly from Hyperliquid's public API and reads a public blockchain address for the owner's own positions. Because your browser contacts Hyperliquid directly, they can see your IP address the same way any website you visit can. No account information is sent to them.
WHY IT IS KEPT
To let you sign in, and to give you back the simulated account you built. That is the whole purpose. There is no secondary use.
HOW LONG
Until you ask for it to be deleted, or until the service shuts down. If AWAKE is ever discontinued, accounts and their data are deleted rather than transferred.
DELETING YOUR DATA
Email eleazarcheckings@gmail.com from the address on the account and say you want it deleted. Your account row and your simulator state are removed. A self-service delete button is planned; until it exists, the email route is the real one and it is honoured.
You can also clear the copy your browser keeps at any time by clearing site data for izzyawake.dev — that removes the local cache but not the copy saved to your account.
USING THE TERMINAL
- The trading terminal is a simulator for practice and entertainment. The money is not real, the trades are not real, and no order ever reaches an exchange.
- Prices are live and real, but fills, fees, funding and liquidations are simplified approximations. Results in the simulator will not match real trading.
- Nothing on this site is financial advice, a recommendation, or an offer of any financial service.
- The positions shown in the header strip are the owner's own, read from a public blockchain. They are shown as a matter of record, not as a suggestion to copy them.
- The service is free, provided as-is, and may change or stop at any time.
- Don't attempt to break, overload, or abuse the service, and don't use it to do anything illegal.
AGE
This site is not aimed at children, and accounts are not intended for anyone under 13.
CHANGES
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
